Today is Dutch violin virtuoso Isabelle van Keulen’s birthday.

A graduate of Amsterdam’s Sweelinck Conservatorium, where she studied with Davina van Wely, Vladimir Spivakov, Boris Gutnikov and Sándor Végh, Isabelle is a former 1st prize winner at the Menuhin Competition - and the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year Competition.

Isabelle today performs and records regularly with many of the world’s most respected orchestras and conductors - and serves teaching positions on faculty at the Basel Music Academy, the Hague Royal Conservatory and the Lucerne University of Arts.
