We're coming to you from The Bohemian National Hall in New York City this evening for a special “Czech Serenade” presented by Charlotte White’s Salon de Virtuosi.

Organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, tonight’s concert features young American cellist Derek Louie and Czech jazz vocalist Martina Barta performing an uplifting program of all-Czech composers — including works by Martinů and Dvořák.

Salon de Virtuosi have been supporting outstanding young musicians at the early stages of their careers since 1989, with generous career grants and performance opportunities. Among the artists presented in their earlier years include Gil Shaham, Lang Lang, Philippe Quint, Pablo Sainz Villegas, Conrad Tao, and VC Artists Josef Spacek, Paul Huang, Zlatomir Fung, Nathan Meltzer, Yesong Sophie Lee, and Hina and Fiona Khuong-Huu.
