New World Symphony Launches Second Season of Digital Concert Membership
The ensemble is now offering a virtual membership to its landmark season, including 12 livestreams and behind-the-scenes content
The New World Symphony, one of America’s top orchestral academies, is set to launch the second year of NWS Inside — an innovative digital membership program that includes 12 concert livestreams with on-demand access, behind-the-scenes features with premier international guest artists and NWS’s Fellows, archival concerts, and bonus content.
The 2023-24 season is a landmark year for the New World Symphony as it welcomes Stéphane Denève in his first full season as NWS Artistic Director. NWS Inside members can watch Denève leading four of the 12 livestreams.
Other featured artists include NWS Artistic Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas; violinist James Ehnes; soprano Isabel Leonard and mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor; pianists Emanuel Ax, Aaron Diehl, and Jean-Yves Thibaudet; guest conductors Carlos Miguel Prieto, Lina González-Granados, and Jukka-Pekka Saraste; and Pacho Flores performing a new trumpet concerto by Gabriela Ortiz.
Powered by Knight Foundation and in partnership with Vimeo, NWS Inside memberships are available for $15 a month or $90 for season-long access through August 2024. Each purchase includes a free seven-day trial and allows concerts to be watched on your TV, phone, or computer.

The New World Symphony consists of young musicians who are granted fellowships lasting up to three years. As part of the program, fellows gain exposure to traditional and modern repertoire, professional development training, and personalized experiences working with leading guest conductors, soloists, and visiting faculty.
