“I feel both extremely honored and excited to be selected for this very prestigious position …” Tobias has told The Violin Channel.
“It is a huge responsibility to guide my own students through their studies … but I will be investing my all to help each of them achieve a deep understanding of the music and a personalized interpretation …” he has said.
“I feel I have gained a lot of experience of the last few years … I’m now playing over thirty different concertos and solo works, plus recital and chamber music programmes, and I feel I am ready for this new additional challenge to complement my own playing - and hopefully further enrich my musical life.”
Today's announcement makes Tobias one of the youngest music professors ever appointed in Germany.
